ABU DHABI TOUR E UCI GALA – PROGRAMMA E DETTAGLI Abu Dhabi, 17 ottobre 2016 – A seguito del campionato del mondo di ciclismo su strada brillantemente vinta da Peter Sagan a Doha in modo così restrittivo in vista di Abu Dhabi tour ufficiale Ambasciatore Mark Cavendish, una grande settimana di ciclismo è prevista per gli Emirati Arabi Uniti con la seconda edizione della UCI Gala e il secondo tour di Abu Dhabi proprio dietro l’angolo. Un evento speciale per celebrare la fine della stagione di professionisti di ciclismo su strada UCI e le parti interessate, il ciclismo Gala UCI avrà luogo la sera del 18 ottobre a St-Regis Abu Dhabi in presenza di Peter Sagan e altri grandi nomi. Alberto Contador, Vincenzo Nibali, Greg Van Avermaet, André Greipel, Elia Viviani, Cavendish, Andrey Amador, Michael Matthews, John Degenkolb e Yousif Mirza sarà presente il top rider conferenza stampa il 19 ottobre. Sono parte della prestigiosa lista di partenza del Tour Dhabi Abu con quattro tappe dal 20 al 23 ottobre. 18 squadre si sono iscritti: 11 UCI WorldTeams (Astana Pro Cycling, BMC Racing Team, Lampre-Merida, Lotto-Soudal, Movistar Team, Orica-BikeExchange, Dimension Data, Squadra Giant – Alpecin, Team Sky e Trek – Segafredo), quattro squadre professionistiche UCI (CCC Sprandi Polkowice, Gazprom-RusVelo, One Pro Cycling e Willier Triestina – sud-est), tre UCI Continental team (Nasr Dubai, Minsk Cycling Club e team Wiggins). INFORMAZIONI SUL TRAGITTO Fase 1 – ADNOC STAGE / Madinat Zayed – Madinat Zayed (147km) Palcoscenico La prima tappa si snoda interamente nel deserto, con la prima e l’ultima parte di circa 45 km su rettilinei, strade larghe. Una volta a Liwa, primi piloti Intermedio Sprint troveranno un corto circuito caratterizzato da ondulazioni costanti oltre le dune, aggiungendo fino a un totale elevazione significativa. Dopo un secondo passaggio intermedio Sprint a Liwa, la seconda parte della tappa porta i piloti a Madinat Zayed, dove si concluderà la fase. Ultimo km Un percorso della città con solo tre curve propri, uno a destra e due a sinistra (la curva finale è quello di sinistra). Gli ultimi km sono ampi viali rettilinei, punteggiati da rotatorie a livello di curve. Il finale è km dritto su asfalto. Fase 2 – NAZIONE torri a stadi / ABU DHABI – ABU DHABI (Al Marina) (115km) Palcoscenico La seconda fase è in gran parte della città. Dopo la partenza, il gruppo viaggerà su larghe strade verso la Grande Moschea Sheikh Zayed, e poi verso Yas Island con un passaggio attraverso Khalifa City, dove ci sono diverse rotatorie e dossi di velocità. Dopo la Yas Island prima intermedia Sprint, la gara va al Sheikh Zayed bin autostrada in direzione di Abu Dhabi Corniche. Si segue un percorso all’interno di Reem Island – tra cui il secondo intermedio Sprint – poi torna verso il traguardo Corniche. L’intero percorso è su ampi viali con mobili in strada dividendo costantemente le corsie. Ultimo km L’ultimi 5 km sono su strade sempre più grandi con grandi semi-curve che portano al rettilineo su asfalto. Fase 3 – STRATA STAGE / AL AIN – Jebel Hafeet (150km) Palcoscenico La terza fase comprende sia un ambiente urbano e le montagne. La prima parte, nell’ambito della città Al Ain, è tutto su larghe strade con rotatorie e dossi ed è seguita da una seconda parte nel deserto lungo strade larghe e prevalentemente diritta. A 15 km da percorrere, la strada inizia a salire leggermente verso la salita finale, si conclude con un arrivo in salita a quota 1025m, a seguito di una salita con 11 km piste con pendenza 11%. Ultimo km La salita finale è nelle curve ad ampio raggio su una carreggiata a tre corsie. Il gradiente è per lo più intorno 8-9% con un picco del 11% a 3km di andare. Ci sono brevi discese negli ultimi chilometri prima della rampa finale con un rettilineo su asfalto. Fase 4 – Yas Island STAGE / circuito di Yas Marina (143km) Palcoscenico La fase finale è interamente su Yas Island. Ci sono 26 giri sul circuito di Yas Marina, ciascuno di 5,5 chilometri con tre intermedi sprint come noi conto alla rovescia per la finale. Il primo intermedio Sprint è al giro 11, con 15 giri dalla fine; il secondo a 10 giri dalla fine e le ultime intermedi Sprint con solo cinque giri dalla fine. L’anno scorso durante la fase Yas Island, per la prima volta in assoluto nella corsa su strada professionale maschile, in diretta a bordo macchina fotografica della bici filmato è stato reso disponibile e utilizzato per la copertura corsa diretta televisiva. Ultimo km Sul perfetta pista di un circuito di 5,5 km di gara con strade larghe e grandi, curve ampie. ROUTE INFORMATION Stage 1 – ADNOC STAGE / MADINAT ZAYED – MADINAT ZAYED (147KM) Stage The first stage runs entirely into the desert, with the first and last parts of about 45km on straight, wide roads. Once in Liwa, first Intermediate Sprint riders will find a short circuit characterised by constant undulations over dunes, adding up to a significant total elevation. After a second Intermediate Sprint passage in Liwa, the second part of the stage takes the riders to Madinat Zayed, where the stage will finish. Last km A city path with only three proper bends, one to the right and two to the left (the final bend being to the left). The last kms are on wide, straight boulevards, punctuated by wide-curved roundabouts. The final km is straight on asphalt. Stage 2 – NATION TOWERS STAGE / ABU DHABI – ABU DHABI (Al Marina) (115KM) Stage The second stage is mostly in the city. After the start, the peloton will travel on wide roads towards the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, and then towards Yas Island with a passage through Khalifa City, where there are several roundabouts and speed humps. After the Yas Island first Intermediate Sprint, the race goes to the Sheikh Zayed bin Highway towards Abu Dhabi Corniche. It follows a route within Reem Island – including the second Intermediate Sprint – then returns to the Corniche finish line. The entire route is on wide boulevards with road furniture constantly dividing the lanes. Last km The final 5km are on increasingly large roads with large semi-curves leading to the straight finish on asphalt. Stage 3 – STRATA STAGE / AL AIN – JEBEL HAFEET (150KM) Stage The third stage comprises both urban surroundings and mountains. The first part, inside Al Ain city, is all on wide roads with roundabouts and speed humps and is followed by a second part in the desert along wide and predominantly straight roads. At 15km to go, the route starts to rise slightly towards the final ascent, culminating in an uphill finish at an altitude of 1025m, following an 11km climb featuring slopes with an 11% gradient. Last km The final climb is on wide-ranging bends on a three-lane roadway. The gradient is mostly around 8-9% with a peak of 11% at 3km to go. There are short descents in the last kilometres before the final ramp with a straight finish on asphalt. Stage 4 – YAS ISLAND STAGE / YAS MARINA CIRCUIT (143KM) Stage The final stage is entirely on Yas Island. There are 26 laps on the Yas Marina Circuit, each of 5.5km with three Intermediate Sprints as we count down to the finale. The first Intermediate Sprint is at lap 11, with 15 laps to go; the second at 10 laps to go and the last Intermediate Sprints with just five laps to go. Last year during the Yas Island Stage, for the first time ever in a men’s professional road race, live on-board bike camera footage was made available and used for live television race coverage. Prossimo appuntamento stage Karate col maestro Semino 20 novembre

Ieri a Novi Ligure presso la palestra della scuola el. Martiri di Novi Ligure, la storica società “Il Tempio del Karate”dopo aver dominato il Campionato Italiano Kata di Varese ed in preparazione a quello di Kumite, ha svolto, su mandato Federale, uno stage tecnico sportivo di altissimo profilo alla presenza del maestro ed amico Ilio Semino. Lo stage, tenuto dal illustre maestro (9°DAN), responsabile tecnico della squadra azzurra, rappresenta solo il primo fra gli appuntamenti programmati dal Tempio per l’anno sportivo 2016-2017.

Questo incontro, ha rappresentato per gli oltre 100 partecipanti ,agonisti portacolori della società e non, un forte stimolo alla crescita personale poiché gli allievi hanno dovuto interagire con compagni , maestri o metodologie d’allenamento diverse dalle abituali. Allo stage hanno partecipato atleti di profilo medio alto e veri e propri professionisti del settore, pertanto, è stato strutturato per specialità, gradi di cintura ed età. L’incontro ha previsto: una prima fase tecnica rivolta ad ogni atleta; una seconda fase organizzata per gradi di cinture e specialità nella quale: le cinture marroni e nere hanno approfondito fondamentali rivolti alla specialità kata empi (e relativi Bunkai ); le cinture verdi blu hanno approfondito anche fondamentali rivolti al kumite.

L’organizzazione e supervisione dello stage è stata diretta in modo magistrale dallo staff del Tempio del karate: maestri Borsoi ,Vecchi fratelli Nando e Giorgio Bellora, da anni ormai abituati alla gestione magistrale con grossi volumi d’utenza . Al termine dello stage il caposcuola ha preso parte alla consueta cena sociale.
